Virtual DVD drives are really handy because there are various discs which we tend to use regularly and there is always a risk of damaging those discs because of scratches etc.
Especially, the CD/DVD of games are always at risk, because they are the ones which we use regularly or sometimes the DVDs of movies too. So, in this case the best thing to do is that we can make an image of these important CD or DVDs and then play them from the hard drive with the help of Virtual CD/DVD drive or you can say an emulator of CD/DVD drive.
